About Howe, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor in 75459 in Texas!

Howe is a small city in North Texas. It is located 55 miles north of Dallas and 20 miles south of the Red River which separates Texas and Oklahoma. Howe is home to a small population of people. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were approximately 2,858 people living in Howe in 2016. Howe is the 5th largest city in Grayson County.

Howe is located in a region of Texas once inhabited by Native American Indians. In the mid-1830s, European-American settlers arrived. Following their arrival, they fought local Native Americans, eventually gaining control of the land. In 1873, the Houston and Texas Central Railway constructed tracks through the area and located a railroad switch in the developing community. Three years later the name of the community was changed from Summit to Howe in honor of F.M. Howe who worked for the railroad. In 1884, Howe became an incorporated municipality.

Modern-day Howe is a wonderful place to live. According to the city’s website, the prime location of Howe has positioned the city “for rapid growth as more and more families look to move away from the ‘big city’ and enjoy the benefits a thriving smaller community can offer.” Residents of Howe are provided access to quality schools for their children, easily accessible interstates and highways, and modern tax rates. For individuals and businesses, Howe is the ideal place to live.

It is necessary for Howe residents to have access to cooling and heating systems. Professional HVAC technicians are best suited to install necessary systems in the homes of Howe residents. During the summer seasons, daytime temperature highs will climb to the low-100s. During the winter seasons, freezing temperatures are common and snowfall is possible. Systems like central air condition units and heat pumps help residents of Howe stay comfortable and protected in their homes.
